My story

I have used Rakuten since 2017. I didn’t want to install the extensions, and always forgot to shop via Rakuten.

Yet still, I earned over $800 in cashback during this time.

I finally installed the chrome and mobile extensions and, wow, I wish I did this sooner. In 2 weeks I’ve earned $80+ just buying things I would have purchased anyway (e.g. 10% cashback on a Madewell haul, 12% on a Nike purchase etc.). I have also used Instacart for years and only JUST realized I have been missing out on cashback!!

I know how this post sounds, and I cringe even writing it myself, but I honestly wish I just installed it earlier. Considering the amount I shop online, I would have raked in far more than just $800+ in cash back.

How does it work?

With the extension on while you are shopping, you are alerted via a small pop up that tells you what % cashback you can get, and whether the offer is activated.

You must confirm that the offer is activated (that Rakuten is tracking the transaction) when you make the transaction. It is totally possible to collect items in your cart before activating Rakuten.
